Post Time change at Batavia Downs starting Saturday

Batavia, NY — Horsemen and racing fans alike should be advised that, due to a lighting issue requiring necessary repairs, Batavia Downs will temporarily adjust the daily post time to 4:00 p.m. beginning this Saturday, August 29, and running through Saturday, September 5.

This temporary change will allow our crews the proper time to complete the necessary repairs while we continue to conduct our regularly scheduled live racing programs in a safe manner and without interruption. As usual, qualifiers will still take place one hour before post time on both Saturdays, therefore being held at 3:00 PM. The lasix schedule will also change accordingly. 

Upon completion of the needed work, post time will revert back to the originally scheduled 5 p.m. for the remainder of the meet.
