$7,500 guaranteed Pick-5 pool at Batavia Downs Thursday

Batavia, NY — After no one hit the Pick-5 wager at Batavia Downs on Tuesday (Jan. 27) afternoon, there is a $2,201 carryover pool for that wager in the first race on Thursday (Jan. 29) and the management of Batavia Downs has announced that the pool will be guaranteed at $7,500 through the United States Trotting Association’s Strategic Wagering program.

As part of that program, Trackmaster will provide free full past performance forms that can be downloaded (once available) at the USTA website (ustrotting.com) under the Handicapping tab.  

The Pick-5 at Batavia Downs is a 50-cent minimum wager that starts in race one and runs through race five. Post time for the first race on Thursday is 1 p.m.

And as always throughout the entire meet, free full card past performance programs for every live card of racing at Batavia can always be downloaded at The Downs’ website (bataviadownsgaming.com) under the “Live Racing” tab and all the racing action can be viewed as it happens for free at the Batavia Downs Live Stream on YouTube.
