Hometown Heroes on Park Rd.
May 20, 2025 – You may have seen new banners lining Park Road—each one, a tribute to a Hometown Hero. 
Today, we were honored to be joined by the friends and families of these heroes to view the banners and share a special moment together.
The banners are part of the Hometown Hero Banner Program, a meaningful initiative by the City of Batavia that celebrates and honors past and present members of the Armed Forces and their families within our community.
They will remain on display through Labor Day and will be proudly re-displayed each year as a lasting tribute.
