Banquet Team (sub status)
** PAY IS HOURLY RATE PLUS TIPS, MUST HAVE WEEKEND AVAILABILITY**
WILL WORK APPROXIMATELY 15-19 HOURS PER WEEK, MORE IF NEEDED
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES
Under the direction of the Banquet Team Captain, the Banquet Team will work at catered events in all venues. This includes assisting the Banquet Team Captain with the planning, set-up, execution and tear down of all events.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs serving duties at dinners and events.
- Must be able to be on their feet for an extended period while accommodating guest effectively and politely.
- Keep glasses full and tables clean.
- Responsible for set-up, clean-up and take down.
- Customer service communication a must, including good listening and speaking skills. Should be courteous and provide timely service to create a great dining experience.
- Ability to work with a team of employees. Will be working with other team members and cooking staff to ensure great service for our guests.
- Perform all other job duties as assigned.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND TRAINING
Must possess excellent customer service skills and be familiar with the restaurant functions and duties that are required.
ACCEPTABLE TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
Must be approved for and maintain a valid Video Lottery Gaming Service Employee license issued by the New York State Gaming Commission.
