$18,534 Jackpot Super Hi-5 carryover at Batavia Wednesday

Batavia, NY — The last time a single unique winning ticket was purchased on the Jackpot Super Hi-5 pentafecta at Batavia Downs was Monday (Sept. 6) when one lucky patron cashed for $4,279.10 on the combination of 3-7-2-6-9. Fast forward 27 racing days and the lack of a winner since then has led the carryover to grow to $18,534 and that amount will seed the pool for that wager on Wednesday night (Nov. 17).

The Jackpot Super Hi-5 pentafecta on Wednesday is in race 11 and it features a group of nine Trackmaster 73 trotters who are all searching for their first win in over a month. It’s the perfect scenario for a longshot to win and provide that elusive single winning ticket needed to take home a jackpot that could easily exceed $20,000 by post time.

However if history has shown anything, the long drought could continue to day 28 and beyond, and with only seven live racing days left in 2021, the carryover could continue to grow until the end of the meet. If that happened, with the approval of the New York State Gaming Commission, it would become a mandatory payout on the final night of racing (Saturday, Dec. 11) and would most likely be enhanced with a guaranteed pool in conjunction with the United States Trotting Association’s Strategic Wagering program.

Free full past performance program pages for all live Batavia Downs races can be downloaded at under the live racing tab in the left-hand column where they are always available.

And if you can’t attend the races in person, you can still watch a live stream of the entire night’s action on the Batavia Downs Youtube channel.

Post time for the first race on Wednesday is at 5 p.m.
