Here’s what’s up at OTB… 2008 HPWS events
The 2008 Horse Player World Series qualifying contests are in full stride. We have some exciting new wrinkles to make this year’s contests even more challenging. A full schedule is posted on the OTB website and in all branches. Next week we visit Lyell/Broad OTB in Rochester for a “hosted” contest on Wednesday July 9 and McKinley in Buffalo on Thursday July 10. Saturday “branch” contests are scheduled at Central Park (Buffalo), Corning, Dunkirk and Pine Avenue (Niagara Falls) on Saturday July 12. Full schedule listed below.
Live Racing returns to Batavia Downs! Harness racing fans have new reasons to be excited about the 62nd season at Batavia Downs beginning Monday July 28. In addition to bigger purses and free on-track programs the first week of racing, the wagering comfort level has been improved significantly with the opening of Grandstands Bar and Grille.
